I started at The University of Texas at Austin studying rhetoric and writing, where I developed strong interviewing and storytelling skills through journalism work. But I wanted my work to have a more direct impact on people, which led me to discover UX.
After graduating I interned at Envoy Airlines, redesigning a training curriculum for flight attendants. That experience showed me the value of research and design where crew-facing resources have real-world impacts.
With my master's in Human-Computer Interaction and Design at the University of Washington, I've had the chance to apply my background to hands-on projects. Most recently I ran a usability study with Microsoft's Core AI team evaluating a redesigned product experience, and I'm currently leading user research for a United Airlines capstone focused on airport lobby operations.
